Cast of Characters

Mr. A: The crazy Armenian (OK, quarter Aremenian) I married. We claim our mutual love of garlic and whiskey is what brought us together.

Mrs. A: The narrator. The very German Odar who loves Armenian food, gardening, and bluegrass music.

Crazy Towhead: Wee daughter. Blonde. Source of endless amusement and affection.

Mutt: Mr. A calls her “Mutt Butt.” I call her “Turkey,” an expression of affection and exasperation my parents used to use. Somehow this morphed into “Turkey Butt,” which is only an issue if we’re in public. Crazy Towhead just sticks with “Doddie.”
